Emergency Card Kit Volume 1

Updated: Jan 7, 2023

Happy New Year, Everyone!

I've been making what I call "emergency cards" for a couple of years now, and what I hear most from people at craft shows is that they want to make them too, so this year, I'm sharing my ideas in a monthly series.

Each month I'll share a YouTube video tutorial with FREE printables for my subscribers, including an Emergency Card template and mix and match Emergency Sentiments.

Free Printable!

To download the card sketch along with these sweet and sassy 1.75" circular birthday, sentiments, all you have to do is be a subscriber to my YouTube channel and then follow the instructions either in the video or at the bottom of the YouTube description.

I'm looking to make this a monthly series, so if you have ideas of what you want to see in next months sentiments, leave me a comment either here on my blog or on YouTube. I'd love to hear from you.

Supplies from This Month's Template

In general, the templates are intended to require very little in the way of supplies. To cut out the sentiments, I use a 1.75" circle punch along with a 2" circle punch for the template itself, but you could use dies or whatever other shape you have. Below, I'm linking what I use and some of the dies I use in examples from the end of the video where I stretch the template to give it different looks.

Everyday Tools:

I've been making cards for over ten years and there are a few things that get used on a daily basis. They make cardmaking more joyful for me. I hope this list is helpful for you. Some items are listed with an affiliate link which offers me a small commission at no cost to you (items noted with an asterisk), while others are linked here just because I think these products are the best!

Thanks for coming! I hope you enjoyed today's projects!

I snagged mine for $20 off Amazon about six weeks ago, and you should be able to find it at your local big-box retailer for under $30 (the official MSRP is $26.99). Since my khaki-colored Casio arrived, it's link barely left my link wrist, earning link its place in my personal "summer beater" hall of fame in a short period of time.
