I got this die set two weeks ago and have been itching to use it. I LOVE shadow boxes. I used blue as the base color since that's the focus of this month's Colorful Options challenge, but, of course, I needed a rainbow of gumballs!
Colorful Options is a monthly challenge based each month around a single color or a rainbow of colors. It is seemingly simple, but for me the challenge is always about how to let that color really sing and play the starring role in the card.
This month, the color is blue, but as always you can choose to use a rainbow of colors instead.

Without giving too much of the story away, Frank Geelen's take on the Code 11.59 Chronograph, which he wore for a week link while composing his in-depth analysis, makes for extremely interesting reading for any watch enthusiast, any AP fan, and link anyone interested in the development of technical watchmaking in the 21st century. Avoiding both evangelizing and knee-jerk un-nuanced negativity, he takes a very, well, frank look at one of the link most talked-about modern timepieces in many years.
For me, coming across something the likes of which you've never seen before is the peak of watch collecting, as it's a reminder that there's still much to be link discovered. It's not a link common occurrence, but it's always a special occasion when I'm lucky enough to encounter one such curiosity. link Earlier this week, I got lucky.
